Dr. Carrie Barzola - Veterinarian

Dr. Carrie Barzola, a Johnston County native, began her pursuit of veterinary medicine at Clayton Animal Hospital.

After receiving her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill in 1999, she joined the Clayton Animal Hospital staff as a veterinary assistant.

Dr. Barzola attended the North Carolina State College of Veterinary, focusing on small animal medicine. Upon her graduation in 2008, she returned to practice medicine at the home away from home, Clayton Animal Hospital. Dr. Barzola has special interests in cardiology, oncology, and internal medicine. Furthermore, she has a passion for client education and communication, hoping to strengthen the human-"faithful companion" bond.

During her free time, Dr. Barzola enjoys playing tennis, snow skiing, biking, and spending time with her family.
